Office hours
ITM is run by volunteers and our office hours vary accordingly. We currently have one paid staff position stateside who works about 8 hours a week. We will respond to any inquiries as quickly as possible. We also always encourage direct and open communication with our missionaries when they are in the city with access to phone and internet.
Statements
In order to keep administrative fees as low as possible, we send statements out once a year. If you need another statement, we are happy to provide that for you. Online giving can be set up for automatic notification via email if you so desire.
Donations
As with any nonprofit, we are bound by the laws of the land and as such we diligently try to honor God first and foremost with distribution of funds, next our government through the IRS and its regulations, and the wishes of our donors who are supporting our mission and missionaries. Any gift given is considered a completed gift but every effort is made to honor the intention of the gift given. We strive hard to keep our overhead low so that more money makes it to the field. Much of overhead is donated in the form of office space, equipment, many supplies this also helps us keep our overhead low, typical years have been less than 5%.
Other
We are a small organization that functions more like family than a business. While this may have both good and bad points, ITM was founded to support missionaries and the work of planting churches in unreached areas of Bolivia. If you are having trouble connecting with your missionary, please contact us. Each of the Board members knows the all of the missionaries and in many cases have had them as guests in their home. We keep close tabs on our missionaries because they are like family and usually can give you an update on them while they are out of communication in the field.
