Bible Institute

Our Bible Institute provides teaching and training in four different languages and discipleship for men, women, and children occurring twice a year for two weeks. Participants attend six courses and earn a certificate of completion. But more importantly, they form bonds with fellow believers, open up new ideas for ministry, learn sound doctrine and truth, and grow spiritually toward maturity in Christ from the truth taught in their heart language. Sessions are often taught in Spanish with breakout sessions in their heart language.

Aviation

Our aviation program functions in a variety of roles to enable the ministry of ITM. Most of the locations in which we work are very isolated. Often times, the airplane is the only viable means of access. When alternatives exist they involve days or even weeks on jungle trails and traveling the river by canoe. The airplane provides the same access in just an hour or two.

Missionary Flights - We provide transportation and logistical support to our missionaries in the field.

Medical - The aviation program allows us to transport our medical teams and their supplies quickly and efficiently to locations where there is no medical care available.

Medivac - Many of our flights are life-saving in nature. The airplanes can quickly be reconfigured for medivac in order to provide quick transportation from the villages to the city for patients in critical condition.

Disaster Relief - When disasters occur, we are able to support and coordinate withe local government to provide aid and relief where needed.

Mission Aviation Training - We offer pilot and maintenance training for young nationals who wish to serve in mission aviation.

Community Development - Providing economic opportunities for village people by allowing the export of local products on return flights.

Medical

God has equipped doctors to use medicine for healing, but many indigenous people in Bolivia do not have any access to medicine or medical help. Through healing the body it is our prayer that hearts will be opened to hear and believe the Gospel, providing eternal healing!

ITM Medical serves in the following ways:

Short term mission teams that perform medical visits to the unreached areas of Bolivia.

Medivac flights to the city for critical patients.

Short and long term care for tribal people needing medical treatment.

Broadcasting

San Lorenzo Bible Radio, located in the Bolivian lowland town of San Lorenzo, is an essential part of evangelizing the Secure, Isiboro and Moxos regions of Bolivia. The station provides quality biblical teaching and christian music in 4 distinct languages: Spanish, Chimán, Trinitarian and Yuracaré.

In joint effort with our radio broadcast, ITM has an ongoing project of handheld radio distribution. Many of these areas are so cut off from the outside world that even a small, handheld radio is a scarcity. Through generous donations, ITM is able to purchase and distribute these radios in every remote village that we visit. Thus, even if there are no missionaries available to stay and teach the people they can still hear the Word of God in their heart language.
