Jakeline Huerta
Jakeline, known as Jaky, demonstrates her love for people through her intense care for their health. Her heart is for the indigenous peoples of Bolivia who do not have access to proper medical care. She flies in and out of the jungle to attend to medical needs and goes on medical trips to provide basic care. She is also on call for the health concerns of all the missionaries on the team. She accompanies her patients in the city to their doctors appointments. Her honest demeanor and infectious laugh puts patients at ease. She is beloved by the short-term teams from the States she travels with, attending their health needs and translating.
Verónica cuentas
Verónica's profession as a dentist opens many doors for the Gospel in unreached communities out in the jungle. Her heart for the unreached motivates her to dedicate herself to healthcare on the mission field. She uses her gifts of administration and service as a coordinator of the ITM Bible Institute held in San Lorenzo. She also desires to learn Yuracaré to speak to the heart of the people to whom she ministers.
Iván and Cendy López
Former ITM missionaries, Iván and Cendy López, recently completed their studies at Word of Life Bible Institute in Cochabamba, Bolivia, and will be studying at Mision Etnos to further prepare for the ministry. For years they served in the village of San Lorenzo helping at the radio station, Bible school construction and teaching and discipling the believers there. Please pray for them as their desire is to once again serve the Lord when they complete their studies.
